Director of Marketing, Specialty Flooring
As director of marketing for ICP Construction’s flooring division, Leane Owen is responsible for overall marketing strategy and execution, including product positioning, branding, communications, advertising, tradeshow management and online marketing. Leane has been instrumental to building the corporate brand and initiating innovative marketing campaigns that showcase Arizona Polymer Flooring’s (APF) competitive advantage and the unique benefits of its concrete coating products. She spearheaded the development of the APF website, launched social media marketing initiatives, upgraded marketing materials and guided the launch of APF's major product launches over the last five years – CastorCrete®, VaporSolve®, ColorChrome™ and Stat-Rez™.
Upon joining APF in 2008, Leane made a concerted effort to gain an intimate understanding of the corporate culture and operations. She immediately jumped into numerous roles, such as reception desk management, customer service and order fulfillment. These initial experiences were crucial to identifying future opportunities for growth and improvement, including ICP Group’s acquisition of APF and Super-Krete® Products in 2018.
Prior to joining APF, Leane spent more than decade fine tuning her graphic design and marketing communication skills. She held marketing positions on the corporate side – in the human resources and healthcare fields – and also worked at a full-service marketing agency in Tempe, AZ. Additionally, she taught graphic design at Clark University in Worcester, MA.
Leane earned an associate’s degree in journalism and communication from Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts, and a certificate in graphic design from Clark University. She is actively involved in the community, overseeing APF’s contributions to St. Mary’s Food Bank and Make-A-Wish® Foundation. She also serves on the development and website committees for Most Holy Trinity Elementary School.
Leane resides in the Central Phoenix area with her husband, Daniel, and their three boys. In her spare time, she runs a health and wellness blog, Little Miss Sicky Poo, and enjoys cooking, organic gardening and horseback riding.
